John Short (born 1936 or 1937) is a Canadian sports journalist and broadcaster.〔Edmonton Oilers Radio 790 CFCW; Sports first and foremost for John Short: (Edition ) Edmonton Journal (Alta ) 04 Oct 1992: G7.〕 He writes a column for the ''Edmonton Sun''. Short formerly worked for the Canadian Press, ''Edmonton Journal'', as well as the Edmonton Oilers as public relations director. He has also hosted various sports-related radio shows.
